Valerie Lemieux-Lloyd Psychotherapy

Welcome. Reaching out for support can be one of the most difficult steps, and I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and work toward meaningful change.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology Degree from City University of Seattle and provide services in both English and French.

I work with adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and work-related stress. I have a particular interest in supporting Veterans, military families, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, including intrafamilial abuse.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal-informed approaches, and parts work, I help clients better understand their experiences, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their values and goals.

Whether you are navigating the impact of trauma, feeling stuck, or seeking greater clarity and balance in your life, I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

Psychotherapy services are available in English and French.
